Jackie Chan and John Cena come together in the long-awaited Hidden Strike, previously known as Project X-Traction, now available on Netflix. Set in the near future, the film revolves around an attack on a Chinese-owned refinery in Iraq, with Chan leading a team of mercenaries on a rescue mission. Meanwhile, Cena’s ex-Marine character seeks retribution against a terrorist. While Chan’s stunts are a highlight, the film disappoints with its lack of gripping action and a formulaic storyline, resulting in a forgettable and lackluster buddy film that fails to live up to its potential.
